Camping, spontaneous travel, adventures and the ocean (especially at night). Things that smell good and things that taste good especially anything that involves chocolate, peanut butter and ice cream.

If it moves me I like it regardless of genre.

Kubrick, Lynch, Coen Brothers, Hitchcock, Classic B&W Horror flicks, anything written by Charlie Kaufman: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Adaptation are two of my very favorites, comedies like Anchorman, Swingers, Knocked Up.

Family Guy, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Arrested Development, Reno 911!, The Sopranos, Rescue Me, Cops, any "Caught on Video!" type show, shows where animals go batshit and attack people (i.e. "When Good Pets Go Bad").

A Million Little Pieces and Eat, Pray, Love are two of my favorites, James Frey, Augusten Burroughs, David Sedaris, Paul Auster, Milan Kundera, John Irving. I read A LOT--usually 2-3 books at a time.
